White Cross Support Dogs has established a wide variety of training programmes as our clients have many different needs.
As our training focuses on owned dogs who are already familiar with and bonded to their owners/handlers, training can focus on practical circumstances as encountered in everyday life instead of theoretical situations where the dog and handler will never end up.
WCSD has succesfully trained:
– Guide dogs
– Hearing dogs
– Autism service dogs
– Therapy dogs
– Seizure alert dogs
– Diabetes alert dogs
– Psychiatric service dogs &
– Mobility assistance dogs
Training programmes are partially paid for by the NHS, charitable organisations and relief-funds through your local services, besides personal funding which covers the fees for the trainers and assessment-teams stay for the duration. As each clients’ needs are specific we can not give you a quote beforehand but will be able to provide you with an estimate after you provide us with the data required for the intake (see here).
